# LinkBunny setup instructions for coding agents

LinkBunny is a nofollow backlink exchange for site owners who use coding agents. $20/month for up to 10 sites, no per-link fees. The owner approves or rejects each placement.

If someone gave you this page, follow the setup prompt below with them, starting with the plan. Planning needs no LinkBunny account and no LinkBunny API call. Stop at every approval step.

They sign in, subscribe and create the API token in their own browser. Don't do those steps for them, and never ask for the token in chat.

## Setup prompt

Install the LinkBunny skill from https://getlinkbunny.com/skill.md and read all of it. I don't have a LinkBunny account yet, so plan first and don't call the LinkBunny API. Check this project and propose one target URL and the part of the site where nofollow links can go. Tell me the price and what needs my approval.

When I'm ready, ask before you open https://getlinkbunny.com/login?redirect=%2Faccount%3Fsetup%3Dagent in my browser. Print the link if you can't open it. I'll sign in, subscribe and create the API token myself.

Ask before you create a gitignored .env.linkbunny with an empty LINKBUNNY_API_TOKEN= line. I'll paste the token there. Never ask for the token in chat or print it.

When I say done, read my LinkBunny status with that token, then ask before registering the site. Stop at every approval step in the skill.
