What we process
LinkBunny processes account email and login identities, subscription state, hashed API credentials, registered site profile details, assignment history, self-reported placement details, balances, and operational audit timestamps.
Submitted profile inputs and assignment results may be retained to improve marketplace matching and analyze aggregate trends. Matching-quality records remain private and are not published as individual rows. This analysis excludes credentials, requested anchors, placement URLs, exact Domain Rating, match pairs, and free-text content.
Anonymous placement and link checks
The Placement Checker fetches the two URLs you supply to answer that one request. The source page is usually on a third-party site. That site and the destination site receive ordinary requests from LinkBunny's server and may log them under their own policies. Claude or another MCP client keeps its own conversation records. The Nofollow Link Checker fetches only the one page URL you supply, and that page's site receives the same kind of ordinary request. It does not request the links it finds.
The application does not store supplied URLs or fetched page content. The checkers' completion and proxy logs record a random lookup ID, service and server details, timing, counts, status and outcome codes, but no URLs, page content or client IP addresses, and our logging provider, Better Stack, keeps these logs for 30 days. We use these logs to run and troubleshoot the checkers. The checkers have no database, and our database backups do not include these logs. Separately, when a Nofollow Link Checker check returns, your browser sends the checked page address to PostHog, without its query string or fragment, so we can see how the tool is used.

Credentials and sites
API tokens are stored as hashes and shown only when created. LinkBunny never asks for repository, hosting, or deployment credentials. Agents use the owner's existing authorization outside LinkBunny.
Service providers
The intended service uses Google for optional identity, Postmark for sign-in and service-alert email, Stripe for billing, Ahrefs for domain rating, PostHog for product analytics and Session Replay, and infrastructure/logging processors. Their processing is limited to providing those functions. LinkBunny's explicit analytics events record bounded page paths, interaction types, broad workflow outcomes, and the Nofollow Link Checker page address described above, under an anonymous browser identity before sign-in and an internal account identifier after sign-in. LinkBunny also enables PostHog's standard page, autocapture, and Session Replay collection. ChatGPT ad click references are removed from landing URLs before these tools start and scrubbed from analytics URL properties. Depending on the page and interaction, this can include URLs and query parameters, referrers, element text and attributes, interaction metadata, and replay content. LinkBunny's explicit custom events remain purpose-specific and do not deliberately serialize credentials or secrets.
ChatGPT ad measurement
When you arrive through an eligible ChatGPT ad link, LinkBunny automatically stores the opaque click reference in your browser for up to 30 days. A later eligible click replaces the previous reference. If you create a new LinkBunny account within that window, LinkBunny sends OpenAI the click reference, a random event ID, and the signup time. If you start a new paid subscription within that window, LinkBunny sends OpenAI the click reference, a random event ID, payment time, amount, currency, and plan name.
Signing in to an existing account sends nothing. LinkBunny uses these events to report ad results. This measurement does not send your email, name, phone number, IP address, browser user agent, account ID, or Stripe identifiers. Automatic advanced matching is not used.
The reference is kept separately from product analytics and removed from pending measurement records when it expires. Server delivery retries stop within seven days of signup or payment; click references are cleared after delivery or a terminal failure. Delivery status and payment totals may remain for reconciliation. OpenAI processes received events under its privacy policy.
Turn off ad measurement below to clear the reference and stop future collection in this browser. While signed in, this also clears pending account attribution and turns off future account delivery. Events already sent cannot be recalled. Clearing browser site data removes the browser reference and the browser preference; your account preference remains.
Affiliate cookies
LinkBunny loads Klibon's affiliate script after removing ad click references. Analytics and affiliate scripts are skipped when an incoming referrer URL contains an ad click reference. When you arrive with a valid referral code, it stores a first-party cookie named _klb for affiliate attribution for 60 days. The cookie contains the referral code, a timestamp, and a coupon code if provided. A later referral replaces it. You can remove it through your browser's site-data settings.
Loading the script sends a request to Klibon. A referred visit also sends a confirmation request with LinkBunny's program ID and a timestamp. See Klibon's privacy policy for its processing details.
Retention and choices
Tokens can be revoked. Profile and ledger history may be retained for security, accounting, dispute handling, and marketplace integrity. Contact hboon@getlinkbunny.com for access or deletion requests, subject to legal and integrity obligations.
Placement reports and checks
Marketplace placement reports are agent assertions. The separate Placement Checker inspects fetched HTML on request; it does not settle marketplace assignments.
