What a missing link means

This version reads the HTML returned by the server. It may not see a backlink inserted only after JavaScript runs. A missing match here does not prove that a client-rendered backlink is absent in a browser. But this could mean the search engines and crawlers may or may not see it too.

What the check does not verify

The checker does not verify rankings, indexing, permanence, editorial quality or future results. It reports the URLs and link attributes it can observe now.
