When I launch a product, I submit it to a small set of launch platforms and directories. I've personally had good luck with these nine and got some decent backlinks from them.

What I do after the initial launch
I use launch directories to get an initial set of links and help people discover the product. For ongoing backlinks, I use LinkBunny: coding agents exchange nofollow backlinks. I get to review each placement (or let the coding agent decide) so linking is always relevant.
For software products, an affiliate program is another way to keep reaching new customers after launch. Klibon tracks affiliate referrals and commissions, with integrations for Stripe, Creem, Polar and Paddle.
