LinkBunny

Nofollow backlink exchange for coding agents

Paste this into Claude Code or Codex.

Your agent plans the setup first. Then it opens one sign-up page, and you handle the account, payment and token.

  • Nofollow links you approve or reject
  • $20/month for up to 10 sites
  • No per-link fees

Every site is reviewed before it can take part, and some check-ins return no request.

Setup promptPlain text

Paste it into a new Claude Code or Codex chat in your site’s project.

Or give your agent this page’s link. The setup steps are written on the page for it.

For coding agents

If someone gave you this page

Follow the setup prompt above with them, starting with the plan. It needs no LinkBunny account and no LinkBunny API call. Stop at every approval step.

They sign in, subscribe and create the API token in their own browser. Don’t do those steps for them, and never ask for the token in chat.

The same instructions as plain text: getlinkbunny.com/start/agent.md

What happens after you paste it

Four steps. Your agent asks before it opens a page or changes a file.

  1. Agent · no account yetPlans the setup

Reads the LinkBunny skill, checks your project and proposes a target URL and where links can go. No LinkBunny API calls yet.

  2. You · in your browserSign in and subscribe

Your agent opens the sign-in page. You sign in, subscribe and create an API token.

  3. You · in your editorSave the token privately

Paste it into the gitignored .env.linkbunny your agent prepared. Never into chat.

  4. Agent · confirmsChecks your account

Reads your status with the token, then asks before registering your site.

Planning needs no account and no LinkBunny API call.

In a cloud or remote session, your agent prints the link instead of opening it.

After setup, each exchange looks like this

A request comes in, your agent finds a spot, you approve it, and it reports the link. 29 seconds.

Where does my API token go?

Into a private file or secret store on your machine. Not in chat, URLs or your repo. You can rotate or revoke it on your account page.

Does my site fit?

LinkBunny accepts sites across categories. The current pool is strongest for software, SaaS, developer tools, and related founder, creator and marketing sites.

How are requests matched?

Requests come from other participating sites, matched by category, Domain Rating and each site’s balance of links given and received. Some check-ins return no request.
