Dofollow points exchange or nofollow exchange run by your agent?

KarmaLinks is a private backlink exchange for verified company websites. You earn Karma Points by giving do-follow links and spend them to request links from other members. It allows only ABC triangular exchanges, so no two members link directly to each other, and needs a Domain Rating of at least 15.

LinkBunny is also an exchange, but it works differently. Every link must be nofollow, and your coding agent does the work through the Skill, MCP or API: it checks in, assesses a request against your content, shows you the placement and reports it. You don't browse a member list or spend points; LinkBunny matches requests.

Choose KarmaLinks

You want dofollow only

KarmaLinks accepts only do-follow links. LinkBunny requires nofollow on every link, so it will not fit that goal.

Either

You want to avoid direct swaps

KarmaLinks uses A→B→C chains. LinkBunny separates giving and receiving across its pool: the site you link to owes you nothing back, and a pending or reported placement blocks a direct reverse match.

At a glance

Two exchanges with different rules

Both are exchanges where giving links funds getting them. They differ on link attributes, who chooses the partner, and who does the work.

KarmaLinks suits site owners who want dofollow links and are happy to choose partners and manage points themselves.

LinkBunny suits site owners who want their coding agent to do the exchange and accept nofollow as the rule.

How each workflow works

Spending points versus checking in

KarmaLinks is a dashboard you work in. LinkBunny is an API your coding agent works through, with you approving what goes on your site.

POINTS_REQUEST

KarmaLinks

  1. 1
    Link your domain

Add and verify your site. Free signups get points equal to their DR.

  2. 2
    Give links

Place do-follow links for other members to earn Karma Points.

  3. 3
    Request links

Filter members by category, DR and traffic, then spend points on a request.

  4. 4
    Monitor

KarmaLinks watches exchanged links and alerts you if one goes missing.

EXCHANGE_ASSIGNMENT

LinkBunny

  1. 1
    Add your site

Your coding agent uses the Skill, MCP or API to register the target page and the part of your site where it can place links. LinkBunny reviews the site.

  2. 2
    Check in

The agent asks for one placement request. The response can be a request or nothing suitable yet.

  3. 3
    Place a nofollow link

The agent finds a spot in relevant content and shows you the proposed nofollow link. You approve it before it goes live, or the agent rejects the request.

  4. 4
    Verify and report

The agent checks the live link and reports it. Another participating site can be matched to link to yours, and its owner approves that placement the same way.

Pricing and value boundaries

Free tiers and paid plans

Both have a way to start without paying. KarmaLinks' free tier keeps going with limits; LinkBunny's free part is the first exchange.

KarmaLinks Free

$0

Points equal to your DR at signup, 2 backlink requests at a time, monitoring, no per-link fees.

KarmaLinks Pro

$19/month

About 200 Karma Points a month, 5 requests at a time, priority matching with high-DR domains and no waitlist.

Agent, API and automation

Dashboard or coding agent

KarmaLinks' public pages describe a web dashboard and don't mention an API or MCP. LinkBunny is built for coding agents first.

KarmaLinks

  • Browse and filter members in the dashboard.
  • Spend points on requests and track delivery.
  • Get alerts when an exchanged link disappears.

Link qualification and publication

Dofollow chains or nofollow placements

KarmaLinks says triangular chains avoid direct A↔B pairs. LinkBunny requires nofollow on every link and separates giving from receiving.

LinkBunny link

Links must be contextual and nofollow. Your agent rejects a request when there is no suitable context.

KarmaLinks link

Links must be do-follow, exchanged in A→B→C chains between verified members.

  • Google lists excessive link exchanges and links mainly meant to manipulate rankings as link spam. That applies to any exchange shape.
  • nofollow is a hint to Google, not a ranking promise or a compliance certificate.
  • Check each live page yourself: placement, anchor text and the rel value.

Link attribute sources · checked 29 Oct 2026: KarmaLinks features, pricing and FAQ · LinkBunny terms · Google outbound-link guidance · Google link-spam policy

Before accepting a published placement, use the backlink placement checker with the publisher's page and agreed destination. Compare matching anchor text and rel attributes in the returned HTML with your placement requirements.

Site-owner scenarios

Pick by how you want to work

Both need a site you can publish on. The difference is link type and who does the work.

Choose KarmaLinks

B2B SaaS marketer chasing DR

The marketer wants dofollow links, likes picking partners by DR and traffic, and has time to work a dashboard.

Choose neither

New site under DR 15

KarmaLinks requires DR 15. LinkBunny reviews each site and publishes no Domain Rating minimum, but matches depend on the pool; a launch-directory round may come first.

Choose by operating model

Who should choose KarmaLinks or LinkBunny

Both are exchanges. Pick by link attribute and how hands-on you want to be.

Choose KarmaLinks if

  • You want do-follow links only.
  • Your site is DR 15 or higher and you want to choose partners yourself.
  • You want a free tier that continues past the first exchange.

Important limitations and unknowns

What this comparison cannot settle

  • KarmaLinks' plans, point amounts and rules are from its public homepage on 29 October 2026 and can change.
  • KarmaLinks' match quality and how often requests are fulfilled weren't tested.
  • LinkBunny's pool is small and strongest in software, SaaS and adjacent categories. A check-in can return no request.
  • Neither exchange guarantees rankings, traffic, Domain Rating changes or AI mentions.
